RDF - Radio Direction Finding
Radio Direction Finding or RDF'ing is a very exciting aspect of Ham Radio. The best thing about taking part in a RDF exercise is that you don't have to be a licensed ham at all. You simply need a simple home brewed antenna and a receiver that you can hear the "bunny" or "fox" on. The "bunny" or "fox" is the name given to the hidden transmitter. This transmitter can be either a manned transmitter or unmanned. Moderator: M1BXF |
