144MHz 2010 UKAC Final Results

December 19th, 2010 | by m1bxf |

The final 144MHz UKAC results for 2010 have just been published, placing the Camb-Hams 20th out of 62 in the affiliated societies table – so a big thanks to all who have either worked us over the course of the year, or who have operated themselves. This is a particularly good result considering we were only active for 7 of  the 12 sessions!

In the individual scores, G3PYE/P came 41st of 338 in Restricted (6 sessions of the required 8) and 23/30 from our single month’s Open section entry. (With the benefit of hindsight and some dubious generalisations, if we’d stayed restricted for the June section, assuming our usual average score, we would’ve moved up to 25th in Restricted; operating in at least 8 of the 12 sessions with a similar average score would have taken us to 12th place – a target for next year?)

Now just to look forward to the results for the other bands…

73,
Rob, M0VFC
